Polarizers

Phosphors
Phosphors are the material on back glass that emit the visible light that makes up the picture we see. On a cathode-ray tube (CRT) the phosphors are on the front glass and are excited by a beam of light from the cathode-ray. On plasma monitors the phosphors are excited by UV light produced by electromagnetically charged plasma.

OLED(Organic Light Emitting Diode)
A display screen that uses carbon-based film between two charged electrodes is called an OLED. When an electrical current is applied, a bright light is generated. OLEDs are lightweight and durable. They are ideal for screens on portable equipment. Since the OLED emits light, it does not need to be backlit like an LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) screen, resulting in improved power efficiency. OLEDs also offer fuller viewing angles and greater brightness than LCD displays.
OLED(Organic Light Emitting Diode)
The organic EL materials that LG Chem developed are the HIL (Hole Injection Layer) and ETL (Electron Transporting Layer), both essential materials for the organic EL's self-emissivity, which enables organic EL's to have high power efficiency, low operating voltage, and an expanded life time.  
Photosensitive Materials for LCD
The color filter photoresists that LG Chem has developed through its proprietary technology, is a high value added product that projects colors in LCD, and used as key material in semiconductor processing, photo lithography, dispersion technology, material engineering, and precision industries.
