RO Membrane
Water treatment filter made with the proprietary nanotechnology (TFN)
LG Chem manufactures NanoH₂O™ seawater and brackish water RO Membranes based on innovative Thin Film Nanocomposite (TFN) technology. Our Seawater RO Membranes provide industry leading salt rejection(99.89%). We have had great success in winning large desalination projects and strengthen market leadership. Our brackish water RO membranes serve various municipal and industrial applications and have been operating in the major utilities around the world.

Product Functions and Structure
[Advantages]
· LG Chem’s NanoH2O™ line of reverse osmosis membranes feature benign nanoparticles encapsulated into the top polyamide layer.
· LG Chem’s NanoH2O™ RO membranes deliver the highest flux and the highest salt rejection of any RO membrane on the market.
· All of LG Chem’s NanoH2O™ RO membranes are Standard 61 certified by NSF international for the production of drinking water.
Principles of Osmosis and Reverse Osmosis
Reverse Osmosis is a process in which pressure greater than thenatural osmotic pressure is applied on the high concentration side ofthe membrane, forcing the water to travel through the membrane fromthe higher TDS to lower TDS chamber, thus ‘reversing’ the naturaltendency of water flow.
