Efficacy / Effect

The drug is administered as an adjunct to diet and exercise therapy to improve glycemic control in adult type 2 diabetic patients who are suitable for the combination administration of gemigliptin and metformin.

* Zemimet SR tablet 25/500 mg, 25/1000 mg, 50/1000 mg:
- Patients who have not had previous diabetes drug treatment, and have difficulty maintaining sufficient glycemic control with monotherapy
- Patients who have difficulty maintaining sufficient glycemic control with metformin monotherpy.
- If combination therapy of metformin and sulfonylurea does not provide sufficient glycemic control, this drug (combination of gemigliptin/metformin) is administered in combination.
- If combination therapy of insulin and metformin does not provide sufficient glycemic control, this drug (combination of gemigliptin/metformin) is administered in combination.
- When replacing the combination therapy of gemiliptin and metformin
