LG Chem is committed to achieving Net-Zero by 2050 through greenhouse gas reduction initiatives focused on Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, supported by a strengthened climate management framework including life cycle assessment (LCA), Scope 3 emissions management, and internal carbon pricing.

LG Chem is minimizing resource use and expanding circularity across the entire value chain, from raw material sourcing and product manufacturing to use and recycling, thereby reducing environmental impacts. Through these efforts, we are advancing the transition to a circular economy-based business model while helping manage climate change and resource depletion risks and creating new growth opportunities through certified recycled materials and products made with circular feedstocks.
